This is the first-ever Paddle Battle. This is a signature event for Real Bois Talk, Inc. to raise money for the relaunch of the Health Fund. The Paddle Battle is both face-to-face and virtual. There are two categories; Sorority/Fraternity and "Paddle For A Cause".  

Category 1 - Sorority or Fraternity             CASH PRIZE

  • Paddles will represent a community based Greek Letter Organization (GLO).

  • All paddles can't not be larger than  23.88" x 5.5" x 3/4" (58.11cm x 13.97cm x 1.9cm).

  • Complete the entry application, upload a photo, and pay the entry fee

  • Must have the organization’s full name or greek letters

  • Must use the organization’s colors and one organization element such as mascot, jewel, or flower

  • No Hate Speech or slander another organization

  • Applicant must be a member of organization for which an entry is submitted. Doesn't mean that you created the paddle that is being entered.

  • Multiple entries per organization are permitted as the applicants are different.

  • Slander, hate speech, depictions of hazing , harmful verbiage or images are immediate causes for disqualification. 

  • Pictures will be uploaded as they submitted, no edits will be made so size or resolution.
  • Entry pictures should include separate photos of the front and back the paddle. Collage submissions will not be accepted

Category 2 - "Paddle For A Cause" 

Paddles entered in this category must reflect a nonprofit organization (national, regional, or local) and its focus.

All paddles must have the name of the nonprofit, logo,

Use the color of the organization

All paddles can't not be larger than  23.88" x 5.5" x 3/4" (58.11cm x 13.97cm x 1.9cm). 

Entry pictures should include separate photos of the front and back the paddle. Collage submissions will not be accepted

Must have the charity’s logo on the paddle

Must use the charity’s correct colors

Must provide a release letter (we provide the blank version for the org to sign)

Multiple entries per organization are permitted as the applicants are different.

The funds from the auction will go to that org on behalf of the person who signed up & submitted the paddle
 

EXHIBIT/AUCTION

All PADDLES WITH A CAUSE will be put on display for people to look at and even go online and bid in the silent auction. The exhibit will run two weeks before the weekend - Saturday. Winners are announced at the GALA.

The exhibit will be in the lobby of the host hotel and the entrance of the Brunch (ballroom).

When you submit your entry you will be required to email the letter from the nonprofit organization permitting you to use their logo, name, etc. to realboistalk@gmail.com Subject header - ATTN: PADDLE FOR A CAUSE - LETTER
